ISISD to be Virtual Until January 28

Parents and Families,
Good Afternoon! Due to recent events and to ensure the safety of everyone, students will move to virtual learning beginning tomorrow, ISISD must move to virtual learning beginning Thursday, January 14. We must move to Virtual Learning and close the face-to-face instruction for 14 days. Students will be bringing home appropriate devices or work today. Students may return to school on Thursday, January 28.  (Monday, January 18 is still considered a student holiday and they will not be expected to attend virtual classes on that day.)
ISISD teachers and staff will be isolating but reporting to work daily to provide learning and support to your child during the regular school day, just as they would if they were receiving face-to-face instruction.
Please refer to ISISD for further information pertaining to our COVID-19 procedures:
All extracurricular activities will also be postponed or canceled. Unfortunately, this includes our open house that was scheduled for tonight.  We will not participate in games, training, meets, etc. The coaches will also reach out to the appropriate people to notify of this change.
We will provide curb service breakfast and lunch daily from 11-12 in front of the cafeteria. Please fill out the curbside meal pick up form. (Also on the website under COVID-19 Announcements)
Remember that all schools within Texas may NOT close schools as a preemptive measure and we are required to follow CDC guidelines. Please remember to keep your child home if they are ill or experiencing any of the COVID-19 symptoms.
Allstudents and staff are to wear face masks, Please remind your child of this and to wash their hands regularly and to socially distance. Together we can make a difference.
ISISD has done a great job and we will ensure that we are even more diligent in following these guidelines in the future. Thank you for all that you do! You are greatly appreciated!
